How to request deletion

You can ask Nkora to delete the personal information associated with your use of any Nkora service, including Facturee, Maison Pro, MyNkap, MyNjangi, this website, and conversations with Nkora through messaging channels such as WhatsApp.

Choose one of these options:

By email: send your request to contact@nkora.app with the subject "Data deletion request".
With the form below: fill in your details and send the request.

Please include your name, the email address or phone number linked to your account, the Nkora product concerned, and any details about what you want deleted.

What happens next

Confirmation. We acknowledge your request by email.
Identity check. To protect your account, we confirm that the request comes from the account holder. We may ask you to verify through the email address or phone number linked to the account.
Deletion. Once verified, we delete or anonymize the personal information associated with your account in the product you named, and close the account if you asked us to.
Final notice. We confirm by email when the request has been completed.

We aim to complete requests within [RESPONSE TIMEFRAME, e.g. 30 days] of verifying your identity.

Information we may need to keep

Some information may need to be kept for a limited period after a deletion request, for example where the law requires businesses to keep invoice, payment or accounting records, or where information is needed to resolve a dispute or prevent fraud. In these cases, we keep only what is required, restrict its use, and delete it when the obligation ends.

Records that belong to another user may also remain. For example, an invoice that a business issued to you through Facturee is part of that business's records.

Backups

Deleted information may remain in secure backups for a limited time until those backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle. [BACKUP RETENTION PERIOD]
